ODAMI is an emerging design studio founded in 2018 by Spanish architect Aránzazu González Bernardo and Canadian designer Michael Fohring. Offering architectural, interior, and furniture design services for residential, retail, and hospitality projects, their work seeks to merge Spanish and Canadian approaches to architecture and design, embracing the beauty of everyday life in pursuit of timelessness and sense of place.

SARA represents the first of two restaurants for the studio, with a shared Pantry and Blondies location — another project with The Food Dudes and MiiM Collective — set to open in Commerce Court in early 2019. Aside from these, the studio focuses on small-scale retail and residential projects, as well as furniture design, with several experimental furniture pieces set to launch at the Toronto Design Offsite Festival in 2019. Prior to founding ODAMI, the duo has been awarded a Canadian Architect Award of Merit, a P/A Honourable Mention, and a Canadian Interiors Project of the Year through their work at other offices.
